Where are the track and field medallists for London 2012?

In contrast to the cycling, rowing, yachting etc where we had amazing success, the track and field team was the weakest I can remember despite the huge amount of money from lottery grants. We didn't even reach the final in many events ( don't mention the relays!) It is not that we underperformed, but I think we are short on potential, Anyone agree?
I should add that I am talking about Team GB

ALL our (team GB) athletes work so hard!!!, including track and field. We have the potential. I heard on BBC that the track + field athletes are training hard to get up to the standards of cycling, sailing, rowing etc.
